Misfire Generator

Engine misfires create not only excessive emissions but can also damage the catalyst systems in modern engine control systems. The Misfire Generator from Eontronix enables proper testing of OBD misfire detection strategies and catalyst functions.  The Misfire Generator detects the ECU ignition control signal and intercepts these signals according to a fixed or random pattern to achieve the exact misfire load desired. The Misfire Generator GS complies with the newly released US SAE Standard J2901.
