Testing Expo Europe Success for ATI

Automotive Testing Expo Europe
Accurate Technologies Inc. (ATI) highlighted its comprehensive toolchain for measurement, calibration and diagnostics (MCD) at the recent 19th Automotive Testing Expo Europe, held at the Messe Stuttgart, Germany, on 20-22 June. For 2017 the firm took its biggest ever stand for the event and reported strong levels of interest amongst the international attendees.

Among ATI’s products at the exhibition were pre-production versions of the CAN-enabled EMX DAQ modules, scheduled for launch later in 2017. ATI’s CAN enabled EMX brings all the benefits of its existing ICP-driven EMX hardware (best-in-class performance, user flexibility, functionality and cost-per-channel ratio) to a wider potential market. In addition, ATI previewed its forthcoming A8 Ethernet high speed serial interface that enables data acquisition, calibration and flashing through a single interface.

Also on display, launched earlier this year, was VISION™ Remote Dashboard feature that allows users to view data or initiate VISION functions wirelessly from a phone or tablet, offering convenient, adaptable, location-independent, safer viewing and interaction with data. In addition to monitoring, Remote Dashboard is also capable of automating and executing some common functions of the VISION software host environment.

ATI has become a principal distributor for key specialist products that complement its own product range and several of these were also exhibited, including the latest generation PICOTURN® PTCM turbo speed sensor. This is IP67-rated for vehicle mounting -including within the engine compartment - and provides a fully digital inductive speed pick-up that is rugged, reliable, cost-effective and easy to use.

As ‘Real World’ emissions become increasingly important, ATI underlined its relationship with US-based ECM (Engine Control and Monitoring) by showing the new mini-PEMS (Portable Emissions Measurement System.) Designed for two and four wheel applications, the mini-PEMS system is compact enough to fit inside a rucksack. ATI will also highlight its collaboration with CAN interface specialist Kvaser AB by incorporating several of that company’s new products into a sub-booth within the main ATI stand.

“Our relationships with our technical partners go well beyond simply recommending and distributing their products,” says ATI’s Global Marketing Director Peter Knivett. “For example, both ECM and Kvaser products integrate seamlessly into ATI’s VISION calibration and data acquisition software suite to provide significant value add for customers.”
