The physical interface to the ECU directly affects the performance and the cost of development. While each interface type has tradeoffs between speed and cost, the interaction within VISION is the same. There are two types of interfaces: ECU Interfaces and ECU Protocols. ECU Interfaces are devices that connect to an ECU microcontroller directly as a memory emulator or through the debug port interface. Protocol Interfaces use ASAM standards, such as CCP or XCP, to allow communication with the ECU via existing interfaces.
In addition, ATI offers extremely competitive, rugged data acquisition solutions, such as EMX or EDAQ Data Acquisition hardware. They work for a wide range of applications that provide flawless, reliable performance under all conditions and environments. Depending on the availability of space, the number of channels needed, sensor locations, and other requirements, ATI's data acquisition hardware are completely configurable.
