ATI’s Breakout Box for the EMX Analog Data Acquisition Module is Now Available
July 9, 2014
|To complement the EMX product line, Accurate Technologies Inc. (ATI) has released the EMX16AI.SPS Breakout Box and the EMX30T Breakout Box. The EMX16A hardware, connecting directly to the Analog EMX, distributes the 16 analog inputs and 16 sensor power supply (SPS) outputs to a Phoenix terminal block. Four additional auxiliary power supplies are also accessible. The EMX30T Breakout Box connects directly to the Thermocouple EMX distributing 30 K-type inputs. |

These new accessories support ATI’s EMX Series of Data Acquisition Modules. The EMX Series offer Thermocouple and Analog channels with optional sensor power supplies to provide high accuracy data acquisition in an extremely small, rugged package at a competitive, low cost per channel.
|All EMX devices offer sophisticated anti-aliasing (hardware) and digital (software) filtering. The sophisticated anti-aliasing filtering improves the integrity of the input signal before measurements begins. Filters are provided for each channel type, including fourth order Butterworth for Thermocouple channels and tenth order Butterworth for Analog Input channels. The user can customize digital filters to manage down-sampled data for post analysis. Programmability features include a wide range of filter parameters, sensor power supply voltages, and input types or ranges. |
The EMX modules are packaged in a compact, water-tight, aluminum housing with an IP67 rating. Their wide operating temperature range allows the placement of modules closer to the signal sources throughout the vehicle.
