SmartTach
| Measure the RPM (revolutions per minute) of any type of engine using ATI's SmartTach. From distributor or coil pack-type gasoline engines to diesel engines to electric motors, the SmartTach's flexibility makes it truly universal. Measure speed in miles or kilometers per hour. In addition, the SmartTach also measures frequency, translating frequency to an analog output that can be monitored via a panel meter or any data acquisition device. The SmartTach reads any pulse input from a wide range of sources such as magnetic sensor, encoders, Electronic Control Unit outputs or ignition coils. In addition, the SmartTach is able to automatically adjust to changing input signal levels using its microprocessor controlled intelligent signal conditioning. There is no need to remove and adjust the SmartTach using a PC as you would other devices because it configures the signal conditioning dynamically, on-the-fly. Use the convenient front controls to adjust the SmartTach without removing the unit. Scroll through modes such as configuration, measurement with the display on or measurement with the display off. Over 60 parameters are available for configuration. The SmartTach also ships with its own software for configuration via your PC and allows you to easily save specific settings or to upload/download pre-determined configurations. |
