IGTM-2000
| Accurate Technologies' unique IGTM-2000, Ignition Timing Meter, provides precision timing measurement for engine development and testing. Measure ignition, camshaft or injector timing with an accuracy of +/-0.05 degrees for steady-state and transient testing. The IGTM-2000 provides an easy means for data acquisition systems to collect real-time ignition timing. Installation of the IGTM-2000 is easy. To interface with the engine, ignition firing can be detected by an inductive spark plug wire sensor, connection to the ignition coil primary or connection to the ignition module coil trigger. For crankshaft reference position, the IGTM-2000 can simply be connected in parallel to the existing position sensor. IGTM-2000's microprocessor-controlled Intelligent Signal Conditioning will automatically identify input signal levels. Threshold and hysteresis levels are dynamically adjusted to minimize interference when magnetic sensors with varying signal amplitudes are used. Popular automotive timing patterns, such as crankshaft position signals, are pre-programmed for your convenience, although custom patterns can easily be programmed by the operator.
