Included with ATI's CANLab at no addition cost is ATI's real-time data analysis features. Key functions that enhance the analysis process include CANLab's graphing capabilities. Plot and view time-aligned recorded or live signals and statistics all on the same screen, in the same window. Again, drag and drop these elements off or on-line to instantly add signals to your plot.

Use CANLab's Scope display for traces and XY plots to view real-time data, recorded data or both simultaneously for in-depth analysis of signal level data in real-time and post-analysis modes. Advanced Scope features allow you to format, compare, measure, and annotate your data to reduce the need for additional software for post analysis. By attaching a message database to a CAN Monitor, messages are defined as signal values and can be displayed in real engineering unit values.

Customize your view of your data even further. For example highlight messages or message groups by changing the color or font type or size of a message in the trace window. Select highlighting features based on message IDs or conditions such as Speed > 60Kph. You can also specify highlighting for message properties like transmitted messages or extended identifiers.

CANLab's powerful Calculated Channel feature allows you to create additional signals without having to write a script. For example; you can take the vehicle speed signal off the bus and calculate Acceleration and Distance. While CANLab provides a vast array of built-in math functions, you can extend this functionality by referencing a DLL that contains your own functions.
