ImageAccurate Technologies, Inc  Announces VISION Calibration and Data Acquisition Software, Version 3.6.

ATI is pleased to present the latest version of VISION Calibration and Data Acquisition Software.  Version 3.6 offers new features such as a CAN Message Trace, expanded compatibility, extended support for industry standards and more "common sense" features to make our customers' jobs more efficient.

The CAN Message Trace is a new screen object available with Version 3.6 that monitors CAN Messages received and transmitted by VISION CAN Monitors including the J1939 Monitor.  The CAN Message Trace Screen Object includes filtering, fixed display and scrolling display and the ability to export the buffer to a log file.  Another CAN network related feature is the user's ability to launch the Kvaser CAN Database editor from within VISION.  This makes using Kvaser CAN Interface devices within VISION even more seamless.

ATI continues to expand flexibility for VISION users by adding compatibility for more third party devices.  VISION can now accept data from HBM's SoMat data acquisition products that provide premium capabilities in extremely harsh environments.  Add any SoMat eDAQ or eDAQ-lite system using an Ethernet connection.  VISION already supports all data acquisition devices from CSM, but VISION users can now easily configure the CSM device from with the VISION Project by launching the CSM device configuration software file by simply right-clicking on the CSM device in the VISION Device Tree.

VISION version 3.6 broadens file exporting and importing choices by adding the Association for Standardization of Automation and Measuring Systems, or ASAM, Calibration Data File (CDF) format to its list of compatible Calibration file formats.  In addition, the DCM Export option now supports the use of Display Format of Data Items.  When exporting a DCM calibration file, VISION will export data using the VALUE DISPLAY settings found in the data item's properties tab if this option is selected.

With increasing interest in the J1939 standard, ATI has expanded support of the SAE J1939 CAN Monitor and added diagnostic monitoring.  Users can add and remove multiple J1939 nodes to monitor or ignore depending upon user selection, and then allows these custom node definitions to be saved.  ATI's VISION version 3.6 also supports J1939 SPNs and DTC Monitoring.  Users can not only select which SPNs will be monitored, but also can select the corresponding Diagnostic Messages (DMs) for these SPNs.  Again, custom SPN definitions can also be saved.  Use VISION's new Screen Object for viewing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and take advantage of new features such as Freeze Frame support, Lamp Monitoring and much more.

Continuing the focus on usability, thoughtful VISION features make tasks more efficient.  Users can now define a default path for opening and saving files based on file extensions.  Once defined, these files are automatically placed where specified.  In addition, it is becoming more common for VISION users to share files.  VISION 3.6 offers the ability to share files between the most popular VISION versions with the addition of the "Save-As Version" option.  Another convenient feature is the ability to resize the Dialog Window when viewing the Strategy Properties.  Increase the size to view as much data as needed.

Other convenient VISION 3.6 features used when calibrating include the ability to display and capture comments immediately while ONLINE in the Calibration Properties Comment Window.  VISION 3.6 can also perform a quick calibration comparison to tell the calibrator if there are any errors when applying calibration data by displaying a yellow exclamation point on the calibration file name.
