ATI and Freescale^TM Semiconductor Provide Full-Featured Calibration Capabilities to Cost Efficient Microprocessors.Â Â

ATIÂ announces VISION^TM Calibration and Data Acquisition Software support for Freescale's S12X Microcontrollers.Â VISION is currently the only calibration tool available for Freescale's S12X devices.Â The S12X is based on Freescale's automotive industry's leading 16-bit MCU architecture.

Freescale's S12X devices are designed to enable scalability, hardware and software reuse, and compatibility across a broad array of automotive electronics platforms including cost-sensitive engine control designs. ATIâ€™s VISION supports the S12X to allow these customers developing cost-sensitive applications the ability to take advantage of real-time calibration and time-saving capabilities commonly offered by VISION for higher-end microcontrollers.
