Q. I have 2 of the same type of EDAQ in a project file and 1 will not came on-line, what do I do?
A.
Right mouse click on the EDAQ that is off-line and go to the properties field.

Click the Assign serial number button for a list of EDAQ's and their serial numbers.

Choose the serial number of the EDAQ that is off-line and hit OK.

Q. How fast can I acquire data from my EDAQs?
A.
The EDAQ16T samples at 250ms, and running at full sample speed consumes approximately 2% of the CAN-ICP bus.

The EDAQ16AI has 4 channels (CH 1-4) which sample up to 1ms and 12 channels (CH 5-16) which sample at a maximum of 5ms. An EDAQ16AI running at full sample speed consumes approximately 27% of the CAN-ICP bus.

Q. How does data transfer, from the EDAQ to the Hub, occur?
A.
ATI proprietary protocol (ICP) over a CAN physical layer.

Q. Are EDAQAI channels single ended or true differential?
A.
Differential

Q. How does the EDAQP measure signals?
A.
User selectable frequency, period, pulse-width, duty-cycle.

Q. How much current does the ATI EDAQs units draw?
A.
EDAQs are around 150mA each

Q. What are the input impedances of the EDAQ16AI units?
A.
Channels 1-16
