ATI Adds Thermocouple Module to its Data Acquisition Series.

Accurate Technologies Inc. (ATI) announces the expansion of its EMX Series of Data Acquisition Modules with the introduction of the EMX Thermocouple Modules. The EMX Series offer Thermocouple and Analog channels with optional sensor power supplies to provide high accuracy data acquisition in an extremely small, rugged package at a competitive, low cost per channel.

The EMX Thermocouple channels can be used to collect precision data from a broad range of thermocouple types, such as B, E, J, K, N, R, S and T. Each channel allows optimization of its characteristics based on the thermocouple type. ATI’s internal cold junction compensation keeps measurements accurate over the EMX operating range, and is complemented by the advanced isothermal connector design that improves accuracy during transient conditions.

The same filtering, standard on the EMX differential Analog Input channel, is provided with the EMX Thermocouple channel – anti-aliasing (hardware) and digital (software). The sophisticated anti-aliasing filtering improves the integrity of the input signal before measurements begins. Filters are provided for each channel type, including fourth order Butterworth for Thermocouple channels and tenth order Butterworth for Analog Input channels. The user can customize digital filters to manage down-sampled data for post analysis. Programmability features include a wide range of filter parameters, sensor power supply voltages, and input types or ranges.
